We are currently in our third year at Prairie Sky School. Here are some of the things that are new for 2011-2012
Teachers: We are very pleased that Lorran Wild, a Waldorf-trained teacher who recently returned from the Toronto Waldorf School, will continue to bring her gifts to Prairie Sky School. Lorran brings a Steiner influence to the classroom, and teaches a strong curriculum through heart, head and hands. Kim Weiss, the founder of Prairie Sky School and an ardent supporter of inclusive and dynamic educational techniques, will be teaching this year using an inquiry-based model. Program Options: Families can choose among four options: 1) Full-time; 2) Half-days (mornings only are particularly recommended for children under 7); 3) Three Days a Week; and 4) Community Thursdays. More information about programs and tuition can be found here.
